Garden Park School is located about 10 miles north of Cañon City on Fremont County Road 9. From Central Avenue, go north on Field Avenue past Harrison School and join Red Canyon Road. Continue north on what becomes Garden Park Road past the US Bureau of Land Management’s Garden Park Fossil Area site along Fourmile Creek. The school is prominently located where the road makes a sharp right turn a few miles before reaching Red Canyon Park and Shelf Road.
